Welcome to the terrain of South Texas, where forms are elegant and colors vivid, where order is marked by a beautiful system of textures and economy felt in huge clouds and vast waters.

Human element is lessened and replaced by silence, calm, pared down shapes, and changing light.  Water, in it’s liquid form reflects and exposes floating images of clouds and space, where no time exists.

Looking upward and outward in my daily travels, I see a blazing sunrise, clouds in gradation, abstraction of the world in varied waters, a curious bright green meadow, lonely highways, dusky tones of late afternoon and deep quiet nights and I carry these things with me.
